Results Premio Renzo Giubergia 2023

Thirteen chamber ensembles from various countries around the world (Italy, United States, Germany, Korea, China, Japan, Portugal, and Spain) are competing in the first edition of the Renzo Giubergia Competition.

According to the committee's evaluations of the video recordings submitted by the candidates in the eliminatory stage, and considering the high quality of the performances, the jury has decided to admit the following four ensembles to the final round, which was live streamed on Friday, October 13th 2023:

  • Amnis Piano Quartet 
  • Maat Saxophone Quartet
  • Tovesco Trio 
  • Trio Chagall 

Following the results of the live streaming round, the Maat Saxophone Quartet is the winner of the Premio Renzo Giubergia 2023. The jury, after broad discussion about the final performances, has determined the following classification:

  • Maat Saxophone Quartet: Winner of the Premio Renzo Giubergia
  • Trio Chagall: Second place
  • Amnis Piano Quartet: Third place

Tovesco Trio was not able to attend the final round of the competition.
