The «Renzo Giubergia» Award is open to violin and piano duos, viola and piano duos, cello and piano duos with no nationality restrictions. The prize of 13,000 euros gross will be awarded to only one ensemble through an initial selection exclusively online, by audiovisual files and live streaming of the final.
Results of the preliminary round
Twentysix chamber ensembles from various countries around the world (Romania, Great Britain, Spain, Argentina, United States, Italy, Germany, Russia, South Korea, Finland, San Marino, Estonia, Denmark, Portugal, Ukraine, Chile, Malaysia and Austria) were competing in the 2025 edition of the Renzo Giubergia Competition.
According to the committee's evaluations of the video recordings submitted by the candidates in the eliminatory stage, and considering the high quality of the performances, the jury had decided to admit the following four ensembles to the final round, which will be live streamed on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 3 p.m.:
